This page will list those events that are open to the public where you or your friends can learn more about and support OUREI’s efforts to raise awareness in order to save the species. Event: Sumatran Orangutan Education Conference, Workshop and Summit Location: Berstagi and Parapat, Sumatra Utara, Indonesia Date & Time: November 14-18, 2006 Description of Event: OUREI is co-organizing a five-day event where Indonesian educators, conservationists, and orangutan specialists will develop education curricula to help stop the killing of orangutans.
