Orang Utan Republik Education Initiative volunteers will be doing outreach, education and fundraising events on a continuous basis in communities across the country and around the world. This page will list those events that are open to the public where you or your friends can learn more about and support OUREI’s efforts to raise awareness in order to save the species. Event: Public Outreach & Sales at the Farmer's Market in the Brentwood area of West Los Angeles
Location: on Gretna Green, between Montana and San Vicente (one block west of Bundy).
Date & Time: First Sunday of the month, from 9 AM - 2 PM (Aug 1, Sep 5, Oct 3, Nov 7).
Description of Event: OURF's new location for monthly outreach to the public. Come by and say hello and pick up some Orang Utan Republik merchandise.

Description of Event: OUREI will be working with Club Peduli Orangutan Indonesia, other orangutan organizations, and many groups and people to celebrate orangutans in the officially sanctioned week of awareness-raising throughout Indonesia and globally.
