Based on her passion in not only art and english literature, she has won multiple awards, both academic and non-academic achievements. During highschool, she was often trusted and assigned to be the school visual editor using her knowledge in graphic design and computer technology. Growing up in West Borneo, Mega encounter first-hand experience of how her neighborhood is facing environmental problems due to the enormous amount of plastic waste in her town. One of her dream is to overcome this issue by using her graphic design skills and talent to open a souvenir shop that not only provides visual enjoyment but also to increase the awareness through conservation and environmental message on the souvenirs.
Through Orangutan Caring Scholarship funding, Mega managed to continue her university education and at the same time disburden her parents, where her mother is the main breadwinner for the family.
