Some of Ainun’s most impactful coursework has included a course on Forest Ecosystem Field Practice, where she learned hands-on skills in vegetation analysis, collecting wildlife inventory and organizing ecotourism in the Mangrove Forest.
Ainun has chosen to further focus her studies on computer systems studying geographic special data using drones.
In pursuing this topic, Ainun is working with her professor on a research project "Potential of Biomass and Carbon Sequestration in TWA Sibolangit, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province."
Ainun strives to build her knowledge base in these subjects with the goal of becoming a conservationist of forests and wildlife.
By sponsoring Ainun you are helping fund local Indonesian students to further their careers in biology, forestry, environmental science or veterinary science - building capacity of young scientists and contribute to sustainable development within Indonesia and the world.
